Welcome to the first Adelante Initiative podcast. Over the coming months, this new series, hosted by business, human rights and environment commentator Ian Welsh, will explore different aspects of the initiative’s work, dedicated to creating safe and productive work practices in the tropical sugarcane industry and beyond.
Specifically, the Adelante Initiative is a multistakeholder programme developing research that pinpoint the causes of chronic kidney disease in tropical agriculture workers and interventions that can help.
